Library Closure Information

LDRL will follow orders issued for Randolph & Monroe Counties due to COVID-19 concerns. This includes social distancing and sanitation guidelines once the building is reopened.

Please see below regarding procedures on specific library services.

Building: Open to the public.

  • Masks are highly encouraged while in the library.
  • Maintain the 6 ft social distance.

Drop boxes: Will remain open and will be emptied on a regular basis.

Material requests: Curbside pickup available at the Moberly Library, Tuesday – Thursday 12-5, and at the Madison, Paris, and Huntsville Libraries on Wednesdays 10-5

E-books & E-audios: ALWAYS AVAILABLE through the Libby app!! Check out our other online resources including Hoopla, Axis360, Tumblebooks and more at

Programming/events: All in person programs and events are cancelled/postponed until  further notice. 

Background Checks: Suspended until further notice

PROCTORED EXAMS/COLLEGE COURSEWORK: Suspended until until  further notice.
