LDRL Recommends: The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue By: V.E. Schwab Staff member: Bailey
Bailey says, “The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue was one of the books that got me back into reading at the height of the pandemic when I was finding it difficult to find a book that captivated me. V.E Schwab’s world and character building and her unique take on historical fiction were extremely captivating to me. The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue captures the tale of a young girl in 1714 who wishes to be granted immortality but along with this wish comes the curse that everyone she meets will forget her and for 300 years it had been that way until one day a young man in a bookstore remembers her name. The romance and drama this book held and the journey it took me on as a reader was something I wish I could experience for the first time again. It is such a good read especially for romance and history lovers. “
